"This talk will present a current research project on how ancient literature can be used for teaching and researching conflict resolution. This project involves researchers from Colombia, Brazil and the UK and has run from 2018 till 2022 funded by the UK’s Global Challenges Research Fund. I shall first look briefly at current trends in conflict resolution research more generally and then present a few examples from Virgil’s Aeneid and describe the outreach projects which we have developed as part of our project."
